Barking up the wrong tree

The life and thoughts of the guy who remembers all the wrong things.

Name:
Location: Clemson, South Carolina, United States

I recently graduated from Clemson University with a degree in Civil Engineering. This job market has kept me unemployed so far. I'm a former Marine and a combat veteran. I read a ridiculously large number of webcomics, though I like printed books too. And if you know any good Korean-specific racial slurs, please let me know.

And that's two....

I knew I was too busy over much of this last semester, and this just confirms it.
On the bright side, I did well in my classes and my GPR is strong. On the less bright side, to keep my hours manageable in the fall I am taking a calculus course in the beginning of the summer. In fact, it started yesterday. One of the few good notes is that I don't have to buy a text book for the course and saving money makes me happier.

My assorted games are going well. My Modern players are having fun despite a host of near-death experiences, and my Iron Heroes group is about ready to start up regular sessions. I'll know for certain if I am ready for them by the end of this week. Pesky learnin', gettin' in the way o' my gamin'. The regular Faerun game is also doing nicely, or as nicely as can be expected when our first combat encounter was with over one hundred orc warriors. Poor Quash is doomed to an untimely and painful death, but at least he shall face it in a manner befitting a gnome engineer.

Time to head off to campus.
