Barking up the wrong tree

The life and thoughts of the guy who remembers all the wrong things.

Name:
Location: Clemson, South Carolina, United States

I recently graduated from Clemson University with a degree in Civil Engineering. This job market has kept me unemployed so far. I'm a former Marine and a combat veteran. I read a ridiculously large number of webcomics, though I like printed books too. And if you know any good Korean-specific racial slurs, please let me know.

There is too much, let me summarize.

It snowed this morning. Now it is just very cold rain but earlier it was very attractive white snow.
This canceled all my classes today. I'm quite distraught. ;)

The rest of December went well. I passed all of my classes (even managed to drag my GPA up a few points), enjoyed my non-traveling Christmas, and was generally happy with the universe. January rolled around and school eventually restarted. It's a mixed bag, this semester, with one outstanding professor, one excellent prof, one satisfactory professor and one unsatisfactory professor. All of my classes are CE (Civil Engineering), so they have math, science, difficult concepts, and challenging word problems. The ones with acceptable professors are easy to moderate; the one with a bad prof is Fluid Mechanics (which is as horrible as it sounds). That wouldn't be too bad except the book is just as bad, if not worse than, the prof. So we, myself and those of my classmates that I study and collaborate with, are displeased and troubled by the unnecessary difficulty.
Bah, too much whining.

Games are going well, except my modern game which seems to simply be on hold for a while. My players have become unavailable for the time being, so I don't expect that to get restarted until March or so. C'est la vie.
